Hi! I’m trying to use Dreamwidth, so I figured I should actually introduce myself instead of lurking forever. 😠I’m an adult artist/writer from Mexico, and I’d really like to meet more people who enjoy actually talking about fandom — characters, ships, fic ideas, art, canon details, stupid jokes, all of it.
My current gigantic hyperfixation is Mystic Messenger, and unfortunately for me I have become extremely attached to Vanderwood/Seven. There is very little food, so I have apparently decided the reasonable response is to make it myself. I draw them a lot, I’m writing a long Reaper AU about them, I have more fic ideas, I’m designing merch, and I’m slowly assembling a frankly ridiculous V7 itabag.
So if you like V7 even a little bit: PLEASE SAY HI. 😠I desperately want more people to scream about them with.
I’m also into The World Ends With You / NEO TWEWY, Detective Conan / Magic Kaito, YIIK, and a bunch of other games/anime. Some ships I love are JoshNeku, Frindo, CoAi and KaiShin. I’m a multishipper and generally very chill about other people liking different things from me.
I love talking about art and writing too. I draw a lot of fanart, write fic, make occasional merch, overthink characterization, build AUs that get wildly out of hand, and enjoy digging through ancient fandom posts like an archaeologist. I’m also very happy to listen to somebody ramble about their obscure blorbo or ship even if I don’t know much about it yet.
I’m much more of a text person than a voice-chat person, and I don’t expect instant replies. I’m totally fine with people being busy or conversations happening slowly. What I’m really hoping for is just a few fandom friends where we keep coming back to each other instead of exchanging three messages and disappearing into the void forever.
My journal is probably going to become a mix of art, fic progress, fandom thoughts, and whatever else I feel like rambling about. If any of this sounds familiar, feel free to add me or comment! 💜
